Today, October 13, 2017, Kira Systems' CEO and co-founder Noah Waisberg will present at the 2017 International Bar Association Annual Conference in Sydney, Australia.

After a whirlwind week of client visits and travel, Noah will be speaking at this morning’s session, entitled “Better Safe Than Sorry”, which will focus on the new legal issues to be covered in due diligence when preparing for an acquisition as well as on the new tools that have become gradually available on the market to assist lawyers in their task.

Topics will include investigating how legal advisers can play a key role in preventing or preparing the new owner-to-be and the target to better face future legal constraints or risks that are coming their way. Finally, the panel will review what process can be set up to maintain a close watch on possible issues occurring between signing and closing, and the solutions to address these risks.

Noah will be joined part of an esteemed panel including Valentina Cassata from American Express, Michael Coates from Shell International, Gabriella Covino from Gianni Origoni Grippo Cappelli & Partners, Hermann Knott from Andersen Tax & Legal, Paola Lozano from Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom, Javier Magnasco, and Claudio Undurraga from Prieto Abogados.
